As we continue evolving our annual tentpole event, Mighty Real, folks may wonder about encore performances of A Sketch Variety Show. To deliver the highest quality of future shows, our creative team is taking time to collaborate, synthesize, and level up the production.

The premier at PianoFight in November 2022 was a knock-out success: quick, punchy, intimate, raw, full of potential, and completely sold-out.

During the National Queer Arts Festival in June, our encore production at SOMArts took a big swing: new sketches and parodies, more costumes – and subsequent quick-changes, and additional cast members. A very big plate for our tiny mighty team.

In many ways, the show lives up to the hype, but there’s always room for growth. And bigger laughs. We look forward to showcasing dazzlingly hilarious, thoughtful performances in 2024.
